Great start to a new week

The clocks moved forward and even though that means one less hour of precious sleep, it also means that spring is coming. That was enough to get me up this morning and ready to start my day. It is going to be another busy week this week, but I am excited for it. New week = fresh start. I know I have said it before, but I really like Mondays. It brings the feeling of a fresh start. I don’t know why we have all gotten into the habit of saying, “I am going to start on Monday”. Well, Monday is here!! What are you going to change today?

I know for me, I always go into the mindset of trying to be a better version of me on Mondays. Most weeks I fail by midweek and then I make excuses and say I will do better the following week. Does this sound familiar? I think it is something that most of us do.

I always start the week off with a set of goals and a to do list to help me attack that week. Some weeks I am more successful than others. This week, I plan to spend some more quality time with my kids and not work so hard. I also plan to set aside some time to clean my house. They aren’t huge goals, but someone once told me to do things in small steps. Over time, those small things accumulate and become bigger. That’s when you see a change.
